A convent for the Wellborn, the Obsidian Tower is actually a compound of five stone towers with a giant obsidian spear thrust into the ground at its center. It is here where wellborn mages hone their craft and attempt to master the magic they have been gifted under an elder mage who teaches them their craft. When a mage has been deemed adequate enough to go out into the world, they are bonded with a Knight whom is tasked with protecting them. The Obsidian Tower, as a whole, is obsessed with finding lost magic items and amassing them in the tower vaults. Their Sigil is a palm with five rings in a circle in its center

Collect artifacts and shit

Renowned as some of the most deadly and tenacious fighters in the land, the Knights of the Obsidian Tower are tasked with protecting a mage with whom they have bonded. The oldest of their order mentor young initiate knights and train them in the arts of killing, spending years refining their skills with all manner of weapons. When an elder mage deems an initiate’s skill adequate, the initiate becomes a knight and is paired with a young mage. The two are bonded each gaining something in the process. Their Sigil is a downward facing spear carved into the Obsidian Tower.
